The newest member of the Traverse table collection —Traverse Satellite — offers Okamura’s incomparable attention to detail and engineering-forward design, at a size appropriate for smaller conference rooms and offices.
Traverse satellite is designed in collaboration with Rainlight —a product design studio Located in London and Los Angeles, with client collaborations across North America, Europe, and Asia. More than a design practice, Rainlight discovers the needs of a changing world through cross-cultural research within their own network of experts in various market sectors. Part Laboratory, part workshop, part studio, Rainlight combines inspired design thinking with business acumen to create artefacts that enhance how people live, work, and play in the real world.
Satellite’s table top is less than 1-1/4 inch thick. Inspired by the slenderness of a brushstroke, the surface is complemented by an elegantly designed frame that guarantees both stability and maximum leg room. Clear lines, and a lightness that makes the table appear longer, thinner, linear, narrow.
